Noob here -
Isearched and figured out that my EGR is my current problem as well - it blew the plug (out) from the bottom.
What causes this? (plug blowing out) - I assume there is noreplacement plug and I need the whole EGR?
What a great location []for it... I have a lift available - is it easier to replace from underneath or do I move stuff out of the way from the top to get to it?
Thanx in advance for any help (see also my new post about spark plugs - did I say I was a NOOB?)

Warranties confuse me. I am not the original owner of a 1997 Town & Country with 94,000 miles on it. Might the EGR valve warranty apply to me? I can provide the last 8 digits or the VIN and other information. If the warranty applies how do I prove it to the dealer? Always have had a problem with dealers wanting to do this work on every car I've owned.

Yet another - Check Engine Code P0401
As with others above, I hope to determine if my PT Cruisers' ERG valve is covered under the manufacturers warranty. Last 8 of vin - 2T288354 with 81,500 miles. email fred_boyd@hotmail.com

Not as funny as the guy with the 1997 who wants a warranty. LOL, yes your 13 year old car has an EGR warranty....
Does anyone pay to have their car fixed anymore? Mine costs money to fix. Does yours?

My check engine light just came on tonight and I went to Valvoline and they said it was my EGR sensor. I called Chrysler warranty and service contract depts and they told me it was not covered. Can you please check my vin? 7R238253 if you find it is will you please email me a copy of the warranty sheet mistimeece@yahoo.com?
Thanks!

HEY CT.....Load up your truck and bring us some parts!!! I have cars all over the lot waiting for the ice to melt off so we can get a Mopar truck!
Misti, no it's not covered for a 2007. Did you call the dealer and ask if it was covered under your service contract?
