Default 1990 New Yorker Landau

I have a couple of questions regarding a recent purchase of a 1990 New Yorker Landau with the 3.3L V6.

1. Is it normal for these cars to run low oil pressure while ideling and then go up in pressure to 'Normal' while driving?

2. There is a noise coming from the passenger front area when driving slow that sounds like something is loose or...? It is a deep bass sound but is not rythmatic. The noise is occassionally heard while at speed, but is most apparent when going slow. Could this be the strut, engine mount or CV joint?

Thanks!

Mike
