Default 1991 5th Ave Transmission Control Module location

My New Yorker drives fine for a while. It shifts gears correctly but then it will drop to 2nd gear and stay there. I have done some research and found this may be due to a faulty Transmission Control Module. I need to know where it is located. I have been told it is on the the inner front fender on the passenger side of vehicle. I see a box there with a 60 pin connector, but when I went to AutoZone the Transmission Control Module does not look like this box. The car computer is on the opposite side for car on the inner fender next to the battery. I might go to a place like Pull-A-Part and get the part but I want to make sure I get the right thing. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated or even a link to a manual to locate the TCM

the trans computer is on the passenger side inner fender. the computer behind the battery is the engine computer. but it's not what your problem is. throwing parts at these transmissions without doing correct diagnosis, is just wasting time and money.
