Some are double over head cams, some aren't. Sounds like you need to take the timing belt cover off so you can check the timing marks. Which V-6 do you have? Maybe I can find the right timing diagram for you.

I had the same problem . Very hard to fill. You need a special system to properly fill it. Dealer can do it. you need to use mopar fluid too

A little late and a little wrong on responding to my problem. Mine had a cracked head that caused the coolant to be pushed out.

As for the "Mopar Fluid", mine has Shell brand coolant in it and is cooling fine now. As long as the coolant you use meets the standards set up by the manufacturer, you will be fine.
