1996 LHS misfire error code P0300
Hi everyone,
My 1996 Chrysler LHS has the cel on with the following error code P0300 (Random cylinder misfire)
I took the car in for a diagonistic to see what's going on. They hooked it up to the computer and ran a diagnostic. Watched the data stream.
They couldn't find anything wrong. Yet the car still stumbles at idle when the car is stopped. I am really frustrated with this problem.
In looking at the maintenance records of the car (Im the 2nd owner) this problem was pre-existing and the previous owner took it into a repair shop for the same issue. According to the maintenance records, the following things were changed.. Intake manifold gaskets, and other related gaskets for the fuel lines etc. Spark plugs, spark plug wires, timing belt.
Someone who has had this problem and have solved it please help me
Thanks
