Default 2000 LHS brakes

Hey guys,

I'm new here to the site and I have a question about the brakes..

i replaced all the brake pads in my car and i still here an annoying sound when pressing the brake if the car is not fully warmed up.

is that a problem or is it normal?

the sound is like metal scratching metal and feels like the pad has no life on it.

Thanks

Try resurfacing the rotors if there is enough rotor left to turn. if there isn't enough left to turn replace the rotor. Sometimes you will get noise from the two surfaces, also be sure to use some lubricant on the back side of the pads where the caliper hits to help this noise problem out too.
