Question Brake fluid reservoir empty no brakes

One of my rear brake hoses started leaking and all the brake fluid came out of the reservoir. Now for some reason I cannot get the brakes to build up pressure. I noticed that there are only two brake lines running from the master cylinder to another block where 4 brake lines exit. Is there another device that has to be bled to get my brake pressure back?

It does have ABS. It feels like it has some pressure when the engine is off but once you start it the pedal goes to the floor and will not maintain pressure.

TIA

Default Brake fluid reservoir empty no brakes

Well from what I've gathered since I drained the master cylinder and probably got air in to the ABS system as well, the dealership will have to use the DRBIII scan tool to properly bleed the system.

Default Just need to bleed them. After repairing the leak

The best way is with a pressure bleeder. If not you can manually. It may take a while but fill the reservoir and pump the brakes a few time and hold pedal close but not on the floor and break the bleader furthest from the master cylinder, lock the bleader and repeat. When you get a steady stream of fluid move on the the next furthest. You may have to do this cycle a few times until you get a good pedal. Keep topping off your master cylinder so no more air gets in the system. The pressure you feel when the engine is off is because you don't have any vacuum power assist.
