Default LHS Radiator Drain

Hello, I read and applied everything my haynes manual stated to do for a radiator change prior to a flush for my 97 LHS, however no fluids came out. I removed the cover for the radiator resovoir, turned the radiator drain **** (only turned 1/4 counter clockwise turn), and removed the entire radiator hose bleeder valve/plug instead of just opening it. I do know that I didn't follow the step to remove the radiator drain plugs on both sides of the engine block 1-because I couldn't find them, 2-because I don't know what they look like, 3-because I was told that because I was doing a flush (Prestone radiator flush) I could get away with just draining what is immediate to the radiator. Does anyone know where the drain plugs are on the engine? Should there be fluids draining from what I did or did I miss a step? thanks! Brian.
