P0172 Code after timing belt replacement
Ok guys.
This is my girlfriends car. Her stepdad replaced the timing belt about a week and a half ago. No issues until this passed weekend when the car overheated (changed coolant at this time, was a little low, probably working air out of system). Let it cool down, put about another whole gallon in, hasnt overheated since. But today, out of nowhere, it threw a P0172 code.
I dont know if it could be related to the timing belt or not. Hasn't thrown until today.
Any ideas?

Yes he did do water pump and belt tensioner when it was off.
I cleared the code, and it hasn't came back. When you press the accelerator when parked very fast and let off, there is an air suction sound. The sound isn't constant like I would think a disconnected vacuum line would sound like. Is this normal? The car has had 1000 miles put on it since the belt was changed. It seems to run fine. No noticeable lack of power or anything. Thanks for the input.
