2007/2008 Dodge Avenger/Stratus previewed!
LeftLaneNews.com Link!
DaimlerChrysler showed a short promotional video during its press conference at the Geneva Motor Show yesterday, featuring a number of its popular new vehicles. Among the slew of production models was a short clip of a never-before-seen Dodge model. The car is believed to be the Dodge Avenger or Stratus, a sibling vehicle to the 2007/2008 Chrysler Sebring. The car appears to be finished, suggesting it may appear as a 2007 model.

Got a chance to sit in the Avenger last night. Was selected to be part of a focus group that turned out to be four Magnum owners. Interesting experience, more psycho babble then anything else; how do our cars make us feel, what is important in our lives, what kind of people are we. Near the end of the meeting we were taken to see the Avenger which was hidden under a cover that was dramatically removed from the car. Every ones reaction was pretty much the same; it's a Charger. After looking for a while the differences were; flatter hood (no curved down look to the front of the hood), higher glass area, more pointy front end, some styling touches to the lower side of the car. It looks like a taller Charger. The interior was classically LX plain, maybe more headroom, but that may have been the low seats that made the rear suitable for children only. Much smaller on the inside. A nice looking car.
