LX models to make HUGE hit at NAIAS...
LX models will have a huge buzz at NAIAS... three models will be making debuts... 2006 Chrysler 300C SRT-8, 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8, and the new 2006 Dodge Charger lineup...
2006 Chrysler 300C SRT-8:
The Chrysler 300C is the 300 with the Hemi and the hefty 340-hp output. But it turns out the new C won’t be the 300 with the biggest mojo. That role is reserved for the 300C SRT-8, the big bruiser super-tuned by the boffins at the company’s in-house Street and Racing Technology Group.
2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8:
Engine: 6.1-liter HEMI V-8
Horsepower: 425
Height: 57.9 inches
Width: 74.1 inches
Length: 197.7 inches
Curb weight: 4,260 pounds
What the automaker says: "The current take-rate for the Hemi in the Dodge Magnum is 43 percent. The new SRT 6.1-liter Hemi quenches the thirst for even more power.
What you should know:With the pumped-up Hemi V-8 making an eye-popping 425 hp, this wagon rockets from 0-60 mph in just over 5 seconds.
Production possibility: Production begins this summer.
2006 Dodge Charger R/T (thats right R/T not RT like the Magnum):
Dodge has confirmed with this first sketch that it aims to again recreate some of the company's early muscle-car magic conjured by the Charger name. The Charger will debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January 2005, and is expected to enter showrooms in the spring of 2005. True to its power image, it will carry with it the much-vaunted, 340-hp Hemi engine under the hood as an option. Its base engine is expected to be a 3.5-liter V6 making 250 horsepower.

RE: LX models to make HUGE hit at NAIAS...
Personally, I think Dodge/Chrysler need to drop the SRT-8 models. All of them are entering Viper territory with a minimal cost [:'(] A soccer mom with a Magnum shouldn't beat a V10 Viper nearly...
