03 sebring lx obd plug
Hi I had to do emissions this year. The emission people said that they couldn't get my obd to pick up.That I have a wiring problem. Does anyone know what could make it not be able to be picked up? Please any info will help me at this point.I would have took it to a shop but money is tight with the holidays. thanks

Have no idea about your car, but as long as you are asking for guesses, it could be a broken wire or a defective plug or a problem with the computer or maybe it's a problem with the equipment at the testing station. If you don't live in California, take it over to Autozone and see if they have the same problem hooking it up.
If so, somebody is going to have to physically get in there and see where the problem is.

..In Germany they usually take a clam, not a plug to read-out the obd.. Most of the newer system check systems are not in a need of plugs; maybe your emission checker isn't up to date?
Just a hint that maybe it isn't our fault..
