'07 Brake Lights Not Working
#4
OK, I would put a brake lamp switch in it. I say this because the TIPM operates the brake lamps on the lower L/R by way of a high side driver(no fuse) after recieving the BS signal over the BUS. The third brake light is a hardwired circuit from the TIPM fuse #3 10A. You have no brake lights at all so the most likely issue is with the switch. There is a far chance it could be the TIPM but having 2 dead circuits at the same time is rare. Just to be sure check the red wire going into the BS, there should be juice there. Press brake pedal and the Green/ White tracer should light up. If not the BS is bad. The wires will be in pins 1 and 2 of the BS connector.
