1996 Sebring covertible won't shift
I have a 1996 sebring... My son got into the car and left the key on (he was playing in the car), and the battery died.. I charged the battery and got into the car to go for a ride and the car will shift into all gears but when in forward it never shifts out of low or low 2... Goes about 40 MPH is all.... Also all the lights that are supposed to light up when it is in a certain gear are all lit up now instead of just the one around the P, R, N, D D1... They are all lit up... I tried unhooking the battery for 5 minutes and then hooking it back up but it did the same thing... Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks Jason

The Lit up PRNDL is a Dead giveaway......Your trans controller is not powering up...This could be a blown fuse, poor power or ground to the module, or even a bad module itself.
Grab a wiring diagram, and check power and ground to the module, as well as EATX relay input..... And go from there.

Forgot to tell ya, the speedometer quit working at the same time... Talked to you guy, he thought it was the ignition switch... I will try looking at the other items you guys mentioned, havent had time to look at it, been camping all weekend, thanks again...
