1998 Sebring Convertible V6 won't start
Got a 98 Chrysler Sebring that won't start. Battery is good and fully charged. Cables between battery and under hood are good, no corrosion. When I turn it over it doesn't even click, dead silence. I put a multi meter on the starter and got 12V, but when the ignition key is turned the voltage drops way down. I think it must be either a bad starter solenoid, bad starter, or maybe just a starter reply. Any ideas?

New Development
OK, I searched all over and couldn't find a starter relay, but I did find a fuse the is associated with the starter. It was blown. I thought that this must be the problem. I replaced the fuse with a new 20amp unit and tried starting it. Nothing. Silence. I then pulled the fuse and it too was blown. What could be causing that fuse to blow? My electrical knowledge is sorely lacking. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Update
OK, I bought a new starter and swapped it out. No difference. Still won't start and still silence when the key is turned. No clicking sound either. I put a multi-meter on the battery and its reads 12.58V. I am totally stumped. I'm grasping at straws, but could it be the Transmission Range Sensor? I'd really appreciate any ideas no matter how bizarre. Thanks!

I got 12.54V on the big red cable. Got 0V on both the wire that goes into the clip and also the wire that goes between the solenoid and the starter. On a side note, I swapped the Starter Relay for another relay with the same model # stamped on it. That made no difference either. So strange.
