ok at the starter relay remove it then with a paper clip or wire jump pin 87 and 30 will the starter spin then?

I tried this test and still nothing. But, I was able to stick the paperclip in firmly and solidly in the pin 30 receptor, but the pin 87 receptor (the middle one) feels like its missing. Its as if there is just a hole there. The paperclip hit nothing when I stick it in the hole, I can't see the receptor in pin 87 like I can in pin 30. Are you sure it isn't some other pin, not pin 30? Very confused. Thanks for your help though. Its more than I would know how to do.

Ah, the A was over by another post. OK, I tried this and have some interesting results. When I jump the two pins with the ign key turned off, it cranks the starter. When I turn the ign key on and jump the two pins, it immediately blows the 20amp fuse in the Ign/Fuel/Starter position 8 fuse slot. I tried this three times, all with the same result. I think we're getting close to finding the problem. I don't know what it is, but I'm sure you do! Thanks for all your help with this!

get a wire diagram and trace down the 20 amp side of that fuse

I found some wiring diagrams and on one side of the fuse it goes to the battery. On the other side of the fuse it goes to the starter relay pin 87. When the starter relay is engaged by the ignition switch it closes the circuit and sends the juice down to the starter solenoid which then closes the circuit and sends the juice to the starter.

Looks pretty start forward except for the ignition switch which blows that fuse when its in position 2 (Run) when the starter relay isn't even in the sockets (just a jumper between pins 87 and 30). Any thoughts? Thanks again!

standard electrical diog if there are two items on a circuit and u can unplug both of them and test for a ground and there is one u have a short to ground on that wire.
and dont leave the wire in the 30 and 87

OK, I have more info. I tested the two pin sockets for the starter relay that send the voltage from the ign switch to the relay. With the key in any position there is no voltage at either of the other pins on the relay. So, when the ign switch is in the start position, there is no voltage to throw the switch and send voltage to the starter solenoid. I also discovered there is no voltage when the key is in acc position. I also know that when the key is in the run position it somehow is grounding out the circuit from the battery, through the fuse, to the starter motor. It looks like it could very well be a bad ign switch. What do you think?

sounds like rt track power from ign switch to coil side the PCM controls the ground close the relay and starter starts up
