Thumbs down 1999 CHRYSLER SEBRING CONV. Rear power windows

Hello everyone,

I am having issues with my rear passenger side window motor seems to be dying (ie: it is dead sloow) and i was wondering what is the exact location of the motor? can i get at it without removing that rear plastic shell? and if its cost prohibitive.

Quite frankly i am getting sick and tired of the car

1999 SEBRING CONVERTIBLE LIMITED
70,300 Miles

*Replaced serpitine belt
*New tires
*will soon replace the 2 convertible pistons @ $450 dollars a pair
* new driver's side doorstop (mopar of course)
* new foglight
* trunk struts replaced
* the car has a bad vibration after it passes 55mph

any ideas folks, i am at my wits end with this imported chrysler...yea its made in MEXICO, i know i know, hey..could be worse, it could have been made in a communistical country like china.

The motor is connected to the glass, and yes, you must remove the trim panel to get to it. To do that, you must partially lower the convertible top to get it off the glass, then remove the rear seat entirely, the door sill trim and the speaker grill. Then you can remove the screws holding the trim panel.
