Default 1999 sebring?

I,m new to the forum but not to mopar, as i was raised on the credo " MOPAR OR NO CAR" I,M looking in to a 1999 ( I think as the redgie was peeled off, and i only took a fast look on my way to work) sebring, loaded w/ a 2.7 auto on the floor, what were the headaches if any on this ride, and what should i look for. the car really caught my eye in a big way, and I need a winter ride ( for central New York) as my 99 Dak 2wd MUST go up for the winter for upgrades and pampering, any info would be helpful, thanx

There aren't really any headaches with this car. I own one myself and haven't had any problems. Just look for the main points, like rust on the frame. Other then the basic I haven't found anything.

i would look for engine sludge, had alot of 2.7 with sludge around here.nj.pull the oilcap off and peek inside look for sludging. also is they have maintained the car they will display a lube sticker on windshield.thats my 2 cents .........moe ps are you sure it was a 2.7??
