Default 1999 Sebring JXI conv. - need help!

I've had some work done to my Sebring in the past month, and the mechanic noticed a cover missing from under the car. He explained that this cover missing was one of the reasons my belts have been squeaking, they have been getting wet without the cover being there.

I would like to purchase and replace the missing part, ASAP.

If anyone knows which cover/guard/shield I am missing, please let me know!

PS: I've already spent $30 on a splash shield which I was sure was the piece, but ended up being the splash guard for front passenger wheel, which I am not missing. Please point me in the right direction!

The fender liner and splash shield consists of more than one piece. It's difficult to guess which part you may be missing and which part you may have bought. Try going to chryslerparts.net and search through their on-line catalog with diagrams to see if you can figure out what you are looking for. Failing that, you might want to explore a local junkyard in the hope that they might have a similar vehicle that you could compare to yours. Another possibility might be to take some photos under there and post them up here or on the Chrysler Sebring Convertible Club website to see if anyone can steer you in the right direction.

Sebrings from 1996 through 2000 should be very similar if not identical to yours under there, and it wasn't much changed, if at all, in that area through 2006.
