2001 Chrysler Sebring pcm issue
i have a 2001 Chrysler Sebring Lxi coupe with the 3.0l v6. I was in a car accident awhile back my car burnt to the ground and I lost my only key to my Sebring and I had someone make me a new one but he couldn't program it , brought it to multiple places same problem I ended up finding i had a short from the pcm to the dlc connector my mechanic had fixed the problem for me and then he told me my vehicle still would not start he said he believed it needed a pcm do to a specific code he got from the dlc connector I don't remember the code but I'm going to do some further testing when I get home tonight was just wondering if anyone knows what I could do about getting a new pcm or if anyone has a parts car I could get the pcm and immobilized Ecu i could purchase so all I need to do is reprogram my key again at least I think that would work not sure any ideas anyone?

Search the internet and eBay. There are services out there that sell reprogrammed PCM's. You send them about 200 bucks and your VIN and mileage and they send you a PCM and a mailer to return your old one to them. Don't try to install a junkyard PCM without having it reprogrammed to your VIN. It won't work.
You will probably need to take the car to a dealership to get the key programmed. If you have two working keys, you can program another yourself. If not, you'll have to go to the dealer.
