Default 2001 LXi Speakers?

Just curious as to the quality of the stock speakers in the Sebrings? I recently had shorts develop in both of my front door speakers. Just curious if anyone else had this happen and if you have, what did you replace them with? I'm not looking for anything big, just something that does as well (or better) then the stock speakers provide.

i also drive a 2001 sebring but i drive the regular lx. i didnt have that problem but i did blow my speakers. your best bet to replace the with is 6x9 infinty kappas all around. but i would suggest that you bring it to the dealership first and have them take a look at it. if the day that there is nothing wrong with it then that means your speakers are shot so then youll just have to simply replace them. if you cant afford infity kappas your next bet is to put either kenwoods or rockford fosgates.

Stock speakers on most cars are always poor quality
