2002 Sebring heater "was blowing" cool air
Hi all,
Thought I'd share an experience with my heater which I have had no probs until this morning. I did my usual early morning start up to get the Sebring semi warmed up for the wife. It was running for about 10 minutes and the temp gage was about half way to normal. I notices it was blowing ice cold air. The blower was working fine at all speeds. I told the wife, "oh boy you had better take the grand cherokee to work so I can check this out". A couple hours later I started it up and let it warm up again. When it was again, about half way to normal it was still blowing ice cold air. Before I broke out the Haynes repair manual I got in the car and just stepped on the accelerator to bring the RPM's from 600 to around 1,200. As soon as I did this..bang, the heater started blowing it's normal super warm air. Puzzled! Any ideas what's up?
Thanks.
