Default 2004 sebring please help

I have an '04 sebring sedan with 2.4 dohc. I have been chasing a bad engine miss for several months now and the engine finally through some codes which i read with my reader. They were 0012, 0301, 0100 and 0004. I know the definitions of these codes and i replace cam and crank sensor but still no better. I've checked the injectors and pulled the plug and checked the wire on cylinder 1 in relation to 0301. The problem is the car doesnt always have the problem but sometimes it will stall and especially when ac is on. Or when i pull out and accelerate hard it will miss all the way up to about 2500 rpm. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

Could be wrong, but those codes don't seem closely linked. Did they all come on at the same time?

I too have a 2004 Sebring, Convetible, 2.7 dohc and have a P0301 Misfire Code. I have changed the spark plug, rechecked the gap, changed the boot and swapped wires around to no change in the result. I clear the code, the engine warning light goes away for a few weeks and after a hard long trip that comes to a low idle stop, the light comes on again. I swap things around again, clear the code and again, and things are good for a few more weeks. No other codes appear at all. My malfunction code also seems to be more perdominant when the AC is used, and the code only comes on at the low RPM with the brake on and in gear at a STOP light then stays on until I clear it. It stays off for a few more weeks then back again. Frustrated for sure and am now thinking it could be a computer issue. That may be my next option. Put in a new computer.

I found the carbon tracks on the number 1 cylinder spark plug wire and plug. Just replaced the plugs and wires and it runs great now. Thanks for the help.

That's a bad repair philosophy. You are planning to replace the most expensive link in the chain before you even know what the probemis. Not every miss is caused by an electrical fault. Have you eliminated a bad injector or bad wiring to the injectors and coils as a possible source?
