My aunts 04 sebring is so hard to start that her ex boyfriend claimed it dead. Some gas, a jump and some luck got the 2.7 with 170000 miles running, poorly but running. I had to feather the throttle at around 1500 rpm for 10 min until the engine warmed up to operating temp then it would idle smooth. The motor is making some slight top end noise and had MIL, so off to the zone to have it scanned, came back as multiple misfire p0300 and p0351 ignition coil circuit primary/secondary.
I have no experience with OBDII cars, and even less experience with this sebring, but it looks great and I dont want her to sell it to a scrapper for $350, has anyone had the same issue and resolved it on the cheap?

Here's some info on the P0351 code:
DTC P0351 Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
Might want to replace that coil on the #1 cylinder (rear bank, closest to passenger side of car) and maybe put a set of new plugs in as long as you're in there and see if that cleans it up.

NEVER....NEVER...NEVER...Sell your car to a "scrapper". You don't know what is going to happen to that car after it leaves your possesion. I could tel you some horror stories. Call the salvage yards yourself and sell it directly to them. First question you ask them when you call is "how much is scrap per pound?" Get receipts for your sale too.
