Default '99 Sebring won't turn over

Car ran fine, put it in the garage and next morning nothing. Lights work, horn works but not even a click from the solenoid. Battery was 3+ years old so replaced it. Still nothing.
Maybe some kind of safety switch??

Any and all info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ray

Do you have a theft system? Did you try starting it in neutral?I usually go to the starter relay to check the starter circuit. The relay should be in the power distribution center, there should be a diagram on the relay, the terminals may be numbered. If that is a bosch type relay, the terminals should be numbered, the 30 and 87 terminals are for the switch side of the relay, if you use a fused jumper between those socket terminals, the starter should run. If you try this, make sure the tranny is in park or neutral and the e-brake is set. It wouldn't hurt to have a helper setting in the driver seat, with their foot on the brake.
