ABS Light

ABS Light
I have a possible ABS issue. On my 1997 Sebring Convertible 2.5 JX I have a random ABS light. It comes on at random and usually remains on until I restart the car. I work at a Ford garage and we have a Snap-On Solus scanner. It does not communicate with the ABS system at all. Nor does it pull any brake codes. Braking does NOT feel any different when the light is on or off. I had new breaks and rotors put on the front and the rear is nearly new. I didn't notice the light until the brake work was done on the front and I had the rear drums cut to eliminate a small vibration. I also had new set oftires of the same size put on this car. I have 103k on it now. Is there a way to diag this problem or does anybody have any ideas what my problem is or could be?!?

RE: ABS Light
Without a scan tool that can talk to the ABS, there's not much you can do. Obviously the Chrysler DRBIII can do that do you or anyone at your shop have a friend at the Chrysler dealer?
One thing to consider though I havewhat seemed like a "random" ABS light on my Durango, but then I noticed it only came on when I was leaving work. Our building hasa tight spiral exit from the parking garage and that wreaks havoc on the ABS self test just after start up when the computer goes to read the various wheel speed sensors and they're all moving at substantially different speeds in the tight turn.
