blowing oil
This is a good one. My son has a 2001 Sebring sedan 2.7 V6 that every 3 or 4 thousand miles starts blowing oil out the oil filler cap. Cleaning the PCV valve and associated plumbing will stop it for the time being. Already caused me to have to replace the alternator, right below it and oil soaked. Dealer said it appeared the engine wasn't getting hot enough to keep the oil flowing and it was caking up on the components. replaced the thermostat, no help. Anybody else have or seen this problem?

RE: blowing oil
All I can tell you is welcome to chrysler ownership... 4 trannys and 2 engines... our last motor did that... blew the freeze plugs out and got anti-freeze everywhere, oil started leaking out of the cam bearings, and eventually got hot enough to blow some bearings out in the timing belt setup... trashed the motor... talk to the dealer about them recalling the car for cooling malfunctions... When we got ours, they put the wrong coolant in at the factory and it corroded everything in the engine basically... we got a good 120k miles out of it, but we have a bunch of friends that just happen to work on cars for a living... It's a hassle... I would just tell the dealer that you think it may have the wrong coolant... it's as simple as that in all honesty...
