Default Both 2.7L engines the same?

Hopefully someone can help me. I have a 2001 Chrysler Sebring that I just blew the 2.7L engine in. There is a 2001 Dodge Intrepid with a 2.7L and it looks the same, but it sits differently. Does anyone know if this engine will fit in my Sebring or if I can bolt my tranny to that one to make it fit in my Sebring? Or if any other engine will fit in my car!? Thanks in advance!!

I don't know specifically about the 2.7s, but most auto wreckers have that type of info. Most of the time, if it looks right, with some modification, it can work. Most often the differences are peripheral, but with today's (and specifically Sebring's) computers complete matches are complicated.
