Car Problem: runs then stalls

RE: Car Problem: runs then stalls
It sounds like the car thinks it has been stolen and won't cooperate. The behavior you describe (starts but stalls after a couple of seconds) is what it is supposed to do when someone starts the car with an invalid key.If you havea transponder key, maybe it lost it's programming, or the car can't read it for some reason. Do you have a whole lot of keys or another vehicle's transponder key on your key ring? Try removing all but the correct key and see if that does the trick.
If not, you may need to tow it in to the dealer and have them make you a new key and program it correctly.
