Chrysler 200 radio code
Hello, the radio in my 2015 Chrysler 200 began working only at times and then stopped completely. My understanding is that this is a common occurrence on this year/model. I bought a replacement radio online but need the anti-theft code. A photo showing the serial number, date code, etc. is attached. I called my local dealership and they want $150 to install and unlock. This thing is so easy to remove/replace that a 5 year old can do it, but the dealership wouldn't budge on the install and unlock combo or $150 cost. Can anyone help with the code? Thank you!

If you have the VIN of the vehicle the radio came out of, go through the parts department instead. They will look up the radio code in the Chrysler/FCA corporate database using the VIN. The anti-theft code is actually tied to the radio s/n which is noted in the database. You will need to provide proof that you purchased the radio. Will likely require you to visit the parts department in person for liability reasons.
The service department is charging you the typical shop minimum of 1 hour of labor ($150/hour).
