Does smoking 2.7 need new valve seals?

Default Does smoking 2.7 need new valve seals?

If you see smoking 90-97(?) Chrysler it has 3.0 Mitsubishi engine. 20 doll valve seals and 2 hours work. Easy! How about 2.7? Same problem?

pretty much my 2.7 with 153k smokes on take off i am assuming the seals are worn as well but to replace mine i am looking at 900 to 1000 in parts alone new chains,guides,machine shop work guides and stuff.
