Default engine swap 2.7 to 3.2 or3.5

I have a 2001 Sebring 4-door with a 2.7L engine that has ballbearings in the oil pan. Not Good. Since these engines are running upward of $2000 in the junkyards around here and the 3.2 is about $600 I was wondering if there are any commercially available swapkits. Or if anyone here hasinfo. on doing this swap.

Thanks

well i can tell you that the reason they want so much for the 2.7s is prollybecause theyre selling so manyof thembecause people need them all the time. You should be able to fit the 3.0 liter since they offer those for the coupes. keep in mind youneed to mounts, possibly transmission, wiring harness, computer, and then all the piddly**** too. sorry you got stuck with a 2.7 not much to do but replace it and sell it so it doesnt happen again.

Geez Silver, Kates is seeking some technical advice here and you offer up a negative opinion on the 2.7? Respectfully man that's no help to him at all. I have a 2002 Concorde with 235,000 miles on a 2.7 still runiing strong with 27.9 mpg on the open road. No oil burning and no issues performance wise whatsoever. My secret? mOBIL 1 Synthetic with change every 4,000 miles.
