Default engine swap from conv. to coupe

will the 2.5 from a '99 sebring conv. fit a 97 coupe

Might, with some work. The coupe was built by Mitsubishi, and it's a completely different vehicle. Exhaust, plumbing, wiring are going to be different.

thanks dcotter, is the engine block the same, if yes will all the parts from the 97 fit on the '99 like water pump, mounts, brackets and etc??

Sorry, don't know, never tried it. You might search chryslerparts.net to see if the part numbers are the same. I suspect the block might be the same, but the farther out you get, the more chance of differences.
