Default Heated Cooled Cup Holder Add-on?

The heated/cooled cup holders in some Sebrings intrique me...
1.) Do they really work?
2.) Can it be added to a Sebring that did not come with one from the factory?

I'm choosing between two Sebrings...One has it and one does not. I know that it is not an item that I determine which car I purchase, but I really like the car that does not have it...so this pro/con item on my comparison list would be a wash if it can be added.
Thank you!

Check with a Chrysler dealer and ask if they can install that.

Default Already Did

Thanks...
I already did that. My local dealer said that it "probably" could not, because the wiring harness does not extend that far back. But that seems strange to me and I was hoping that the Chrysler Forum enthusiasts might be even more knowledgable.
Thanks again
