sorry about all the problems your having, but dont ever believe the little old lady or old man story a dealer will tell you. to me it sounds like someone really did something stupid or the car went under water or something. most of the time those used cars have been bought at an auction and they have no idea what the true history is on a car. personally ive owned nothing but dodge and chryslers since 1969 when i bought my first car a 69 charger and ive never ever had to replace a trany or any major parts. if a car started costing excess money with repairs i would get rid of it. sell it to that mechanic. good luck.

Exactly what I was thinking and trying to say... Ever think someone could have torn that car up before you got it? I don't believe it's Chrysler's fault on this one... Don't believe everything you read or hear. Everyone lies...

Yeah i can tell you for a fact that the little old lady story is full of it i work at a dealer and they tried it to me on th eused lot i was like f-off guys i saw the punk kid get out and trade it in 3 weeks ago with bald tires i showed them the bill for the tires and then i talked to the used car repair guy and he said dont do it the declined fixing a few things and if you do get a service contract and blow the engine soon becouse its not gonna last. As for all you problems first i can say that if its a 2 door hard top all the prices are high due to the jap in them mitsubissi crap. me well i have had a 1975 ply fury (best pos i ever owned before the shocks went trough the trunk still drove it a day or two just took bumps slower. 2nd a 1991 ply horizon fun little car first stick i owned and the first one i had to put a clutch into as well.lol that one when i was in the navy my mom and little bro gave it away or sold it i still cannot get a clear answer from them.3rd 1993 ford mustang nice car 4cl engine no fun 4th 1996 ford mustang gt fun car had to sell it for my little baby boy and got a 1994 jeep grand cherokee then 1989 buick entury ok then 1996 dodge grand caravan got it with a blown trans and sold it 3 months before it blew again now i am leasing a 2005 pt cruiser moral of the story chrysler have been pretty good to me never had any really bad problems but then again never owned that long either lol use'em and lose'em right guys...

dont give up on dcx you got screwed thats a fact but when you fall off a bike you dont back to your big wheel do ya...lol
sorry trying to get a smile out of ya.

good luck

Default I hate my Chrysler too.

In April 2011, I bought a 2006 PT Cruiser with 50k miles on it from a dealer. Ironically, after the 90 day warranty expired, I started having horrible problems one after another.

The Keyless entry system started acting up and only working about 30% of the time. Then, the car just literally shut down all together. Turns out, it's some kind of super expensive computer chip problem that will cost me an arm and a leg to fix. So, I just have to live with it. Every other week or so, I notice the lights flickering, the dash board indicators will light up for no reason, or the car alarm won't work. All kinds of things.
Because my lights flicker, I've had to replace my rear bulbs twice now.

In July 2011, I took a trip to Orlando thinking I'd be perfectly fine. When I reached Chattanooga (from Cincinnati), my car overheated. After a towing to a Goodyear dealer nearby (Thankfully), it turns out that the cooling fan motor burned out. They had luckily found one and were able to replace the entire piece. $600 later, I was back on the road. Woot!

Later yet, I bumped a pole every so lightly (Seriously) with the front bumper and the damn thing fell off. It cracked on the extreme right hand corner where the connector holds the entire right side together. I had to rig it with a hanger. There's no way to fix it either. I have to buy another one for $250. Plus PAINT!

And on...

Excellent points. In most cases, with vehicles that have multiple problems, it's the owner and the care it has been shown, not the company.Mobile mechanic Phoenix az will save your TIME and MONEY and come to where your car is and we'll diagnose it and repair it on the spot if we can.

I see it as... If Chrysler was such a good car, it should and would be able to make up past 100K miles w/o a lot of major problems. I'm sorry but spending almost $5K on a car that I've only had for 15 months, that only has 86K miles on it is a load of steaming poop if I ever saw one. I mean come on... I have a '90 Limited Edition Ford Thunderbird Sport, that packed on 145K miles on it before I had to put in a new Tranny... (yes, I'm sure some of you are thinking ' well not all cars are built alike'). But wouldn't it be nice if all cars could at the LEAST make it to 100K miles?? Oh well, I guess that I just expect more for what I pay. I can pretty much promise, after I get rid of this car, or it takes a flaming crap.. I won't be buying another chrysler again.
UUh but why did you buy a Chrysler ?
