Default New Owner with some questions...

Hello,

I bought an 09 Sebring Touring with the 2.7 V6 in it in April. I bought it with 29000kms on it. Having previously been a 2.7L Intrepid owner, I am well aware of the engine problems and know to change the oil often (my intrepid was running perfectly with 100000+ miles when I sold it).

I generally like the car, but have noticed a few things and am wondering how common they are:

1. Noisey Idle - My intrepid was almost totally quiet on idle. This car has alot of noise compared to my other 2.7. Is this normal? Do other 2.7 owners noticed the loud idle as well.

2. Accelerate bang - There is a thump under the floor when you accelerate (normally). I am not an agressive driver, but when I press on the accelerator this almost always happens. It sounds almost as if something slides and bangs under the passanger seat but it's coming from under the car. What could this be?

I obviously have alot of warranty left on it, so I can have all of the problems fixed, but I'm getting a little concerned that these cars are junk and it's going to spend the entire time I own it in the shop.

I purposely stayed away from the base models and bought one with some options in it, but it looks like it makes no difference quality wise.

Here are the specs

18" Aluminum Wheels
2.7L FlexFuel V6
Leather Interior
Sirrius
Power Windows/Seat/Mirrors
Heated Mirrors
Black on Charcol
