P0340 & P0335 OBD2 codes
Hello,
Car : 2002 chrysler sebring lxi coupe V6 3.0Liter SFI SOHC 150,000 miles. Just had a major tune up.
Problem : I've had a few issues with this car mainly it would crank but not start and after a bunch of part swapping I found out it was the distributor , well after putting in a new distributor ( Part Number: ADLG-DG29) the car fires up great and purrs like a kitten but now I'm getting P0340 & P0335. I've tried everything to get them to go way and even replaced both sensors but the codes pop right back up after cleaning them.

Crank sensor code: P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction Engine Light Code
Cam sensor code: OBD-II Trouble Code: P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
On that engine, the cam sensor is built into the distributor. People have reported problems with aftermarket distributors.
Check carefully the condition of the wiring and connectors to the sensors.
