Default Power Steering Fluid questions

My brother's 2003 Sebring (2.7 v6) has been "chirping" sound when it's first started and when the steering wheel hits the bump stops of the power steering. It only does it cold, so in hoping to help resolve the issue, I'm putting in new Napa ATF+4 fluid. I also want to plumb in a Napa #3033 fuel filter into the power steering system to collect debris that's in it.

What is the flow direction of the fluid so I plumb the filter correctly. Does the fluid flow out of the reservior through the front 3/8" line?

Skip the filter. Check the belt.

if Chrysler wanted a filter installed they would have put one in there.
