Replace Catalytic Converter
Does anyone have the "How to" in replacing the catalytic converter on a 2004 Chrysler Sebring LX 2.7 L? Also, is this a project that I should be trying myself as a DIY? Thank you in advance.

There are other things to check before replacing the catalytic converter. This code could be caused by a problem with the O2 sensors. It's set when the readings from the O2 sensors are too close together, which can be caused by replacing one without replacing the other because they "age" together.
That rear cat (bank 1) is a PITA because it won't come out even if you unbolt it completely. I think you need to also remove the rear engine mount.
There's a photo album on the forum here showing how to remove the crossover pipe that also discusses unbolting the rear cat since it's necessary to pull out the pipe, which is also necessary to remove the cat.
I hope that makes some sense.
