Default sebring back removal

Interested in what method is required to remove the back seat of my 2000 sebring convertible. Attempting to install a XM radio system. Would like to go through the trunk, then under the seat, down the side runner andthem comebelow the dash... Anyone have experience?

The usual method is to push down and toward the rear very hard on the front edge of the rear seat cushion. Typically, there's a pair of steel hooks on the floor andsteel loops on the cushion, located one on each side about in the middle of where you sit. The object is to push the cushion down and back and out from under the hook. Once that is accomplished, the cushion should pop out easily. Then look for a couple of bolts or screws that secure the bottom of the seat back. Remove those and lift the seat back up and away. To reinstall the cushion, just push the same way and it should pop back in.

My 97 has 2 small black tabs below the front of the seat. They're releases.

just pulled mine, pull up hard at each front corner on bottom seat cushion, it will pop out. unbolt the middle seat belts and push straight up on the back cushion. should come completely out. just replaced the convertible top on mine and has to gut the rear interior
