Default sound system

i have a 99 sebring lxi with the infinity sound system with an amp in the rear deck lid. does anyone know how one would go about wiring up an after market amp using the wires that runs to the factory amp... im trying nt to have to run my speaker wires from the front of my car to the trunk... it would be nice and soo much easyier if i could tap into the speaker wires that are connected to the fatory amp. what i need is a break down or a diagram of the speaker wires and what colors i should be using, like left and right front and rear, o and the remote wire... please help me im trying to get this done asap. the only wires i want to have to run from my head unit is the rca and of course my power wire form my battery... thanks in advance.

Go over to 12volt.com and see if you can find what you're looking for there.

That didn't help me any... To many different diagrams... How can I go about by pasting the factory amp?

It may not be easy. On mine (an '01 convertible) the radio has outputs for four speakers. They feed into the amp. The amp has outputs for six speakers.

For each speaker, the wires are twisted together in pairs.
