Default Water Pump

hello,
My A/C took a dump today... or at least I think it did. The water temp got way hot, so I pulled over, and my car was steaming up a storm, I wanted like 15 min before I opened the hood, in the process of doing that I noticed my car was leaking green stuff... coolint? After opening the hood there was an explosion of water every where, causing me to get a nasty burn on my leg.
On to my question: How had is it to replace the water pump if that's what the problem is?
Any other thoughts as to what could be the problem are VERY welcome![sm=smiley36.gif]

I have a 1997 Sebring LX 2.5 liter V6. My car has 85,700 miles on it, and I've had it a year... I bought it with 63000 miles on it... yeah I know a lot of driving for 1 year. but I just don't get it... my car seriously started falling apart after 70,000 miles... I've been really thinking about getting a new car, but I'm 21 (soon to be 22 yey!) and I'm already on my 5th car... yikes! any sugestions?
