Default When to replace coils.

How do I know when I need to replace my ignition coils on my 2001 2.7 sebring. I know that old plugs cause some power loss. I'm just wondering if coils can do the same.

Coils are more likely to either work or not work. They are not likely to need replacement unless they fail completely. They have no moving parts nor anything that wears or erodes.

Well... In some cases the hi Voltage pin might be corroded, or if the contact is not good even vaporized by sparks. Saw that one time in some car, it wasn't Chrysler... The coil itself - agree, can't be damaged...
