06 300c that stalls and smells like gas
Can anyone help ! while drivingand slowing down or stoping the car will shut off and you have to re start it, Also at lease twice a week you can smell gas fumes through the a/c vents and we have to leave the garage cracked open in fear of the fire hazard the techs seem to have no clue whats wrong because there is no error codes coming up

RE: 06 300c that stalls and smells like gas
I have a 2006 Chrysler 300C Hemi. Car has 5,500 miles on it. Gas mileage 14 city, 19 highway. Have not had the problem of gas fumes or stalling. Possible if your mileage is less that your vales are not operating properly. As you probably already know the engine will switch to 4 cylinders when not pushing hard if spark is off to these cylinders but intake vales still opening than you can get roar gas into these cylinders.
I have a problem with my TPM (tire pressure monitor) system. It will flash on that there is a problem, but no one at my dealership can find anything wrong. If you here of a fix for this let me know.

Okayyy...my 300 Limited stall about a month ago. This morning it totally died! 5am.....I'm driving and I feel the "transmission" go out. I step on the gas and it revs, but it's going absolutely no place. I finally pull over and smoke is bellowing from the hood. I'm pissed! 2005 300 and it's smoking on the side of the road. I call Chrysler roadside service(excellent by the way) and the tow truck driver looks underneath and tells me......you got transmission fluid running all over the ground. It was towed to the nearest dealership and I can't wait until today to find out what is going on. I called a friend and asked "how's your car running." He paused and told me it stalled twice on him. We both purchased our cars about a year ago.
I'll keep you posted!
