Default ??? for 300C Owners

OK, to make a long story short:

Was going out to look for a new car for the wife. It was a toss-up between the 300C and a Nissan Pathfinder. The Nissan dealership gave us a hell of a deal on the Pathfinder so we took it. Now, I am thinking of trading in my 2002 Ford Lightning for the 300C with the Hemi. The local dealership has a few on the lot and I'm ready to deal.

My questions:

1. Ballpark, what have you guys paid for yours? I saw that the dealership had a dealer profit added to the sticker for @ $4,000. Has anyone actually paid this?

2. Any problems with this car? I searched through this forum and have found some items, but in my opinion, the car is too new to the market so major problems may have not hit anyone yet.

3. Is there anything with this car you are not happy with, and be honest? I love my Lightning, but I will admit, there are times I hate driving it. Long trips are a bear.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Mike

I have a 2006 300C SRT-8 I paid $10,000 over sticker in las vegas. I did this because I found in other areas they were going as high as $60,000.

The 300C with the 340HP hemi loaded should be around $44,000 or so.

$44K?!?!?!?! Maybe I should just buy it and sell it to you. J/K, but the dealership has it at @33K with the Hemi, nicely loaded. That's without the additional markup. The salesman did tell me that they have been willing to make deals on the cars.

44k for a 300C would be pretty crazy considering that's what my dad is paying for his SRT8 at Dave Smith Motors in Idaho. They sell at invoice plus 200 bucks but he's been waiting since January. you can get a 300c for under invoice there (not msrp) and shouldn't be a long wait. probably around 32k depending on options
