Default P0513 code - flashing security light

Hi,

When I got the car, I only got one original key.

I bought an unprogrammed key on eBay, had the key cut, and bought a SBB key programmer.

Figured I would program the key myself.

Well, the SBB key programmer was never able to program the key.

While I was tinkering around with SBB key programmer, I put the unprogrammed key in the ignition, started the car, and the engine shut down within seconds.

In researching the P0513 code, I recently read somewhere that if you try to start a car with an unprogrammed key you will get a P0513 code.

I bought a brand new Chrysler key, went to the dealer, and had the dealer program the eBay key and the new Chrysler key.

Now, when I use any one of my 3 keys (all 3 keys have new batteries and were programmed by the dealer) to start the car, the security light NEVER stops flashing the entire time the car is running and driving.

When I use the remote start (FlashLogic FLRSCH5 set up to use the factory key) to start the car, the security light flashes for a few seconds and then goes off.

When I put any of the 3 keys in the ignition after using the remote start, the security light stays off.

Did I create the P0513 code by when I started the car with unprogrammed eBay key?

I am at a loss!!!

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you,
George
