As I was merging onto a highway, I punched the gas from a coast. The car lurched forward, lost all pick-up and the check engine light went on. I pulled over, turned the car off for a minute, then turned it on. I was able to continue my trip but didn't have the same pick up or explosion off the line. The engine light remains on and I'm due to take it to the dealer soon. Anybody have a similar experience? Any ideas waht the problem is?
