Default Upgrading Climate Control and Centre Console

My car is a 2007 300 Touring I want to put the dual climate control from a 2008 model. Do I just have to install it and it will work?

Also I have a 2008 center console with DVD player from Chrysler if I install this will it work and will the built in seat heaters work for the back seat?

Any help appreciated.

hey new think about what U are asking first of all. U cant add an ac control head that has dual controls and U dont have it now and really expect it to work do ya? If that was teh case U would have it already. Plus what do u think makes it a dual system to which u can change the temp on driver and pass side differently?
Second if u install a center console that has rear heated seats will it work same situation.
Ask yourself this cut a hole in the wall of your house put a light switch in do u expect it to work with no wires or power???
Now back to you issues NO and NO.

Some companies use genral parts in the manufacturing of the cars and the upgrades can be as easy as buying the upgraded control unit. Thought it might be the same!! The DVD player should still work shouldn't it? I have a Double DIN DVD player built into the front console and it can play of that. But as it is a 2008 centre console going into a 2007 model will that make a difference?

Again any help much appreciated.

they use general wire harness yes not general parts as u are asking for.
the dvd U have a what?? there is no dvd players up front U mean a nav unit? that dvd is for data only not video. The chryser ones the dvd player and screen are built into one. and as for the wireharness unless u have the top of the line 300 i doubt it would be there and if u ask the wireharness for that is around 1k.

The HVAC unit under the I/P is different between the single zone manual A/C system, and the dual zone automatic system. To make this switch you'd need to remove the I/P. Replace he HVAC unit, the I/P wiring harness, the control head, and re program the CAN bus gateway to let the vehicle configuration know that it's changed. Not such an easy upgrade.....
