I bought a nice rust free 2007 RWD 4.7l Aspen that came from Arizona, It's a really nice looking SUV. It does not have the towing package. I am unable to find the towing capacity. The owners manual dose not specify it. There is only a statement something about a bumper pull limited to 2000 lbs. and some info about the capacity of hitch classes. I think maybe some of the text in the manual is left over from a pickup truck manual. The owners manual has a link to a dead web page for more information. I got a built sheet, or part of one, from a dealer parts department, and was able to download another, Neither has towing information. I found charts of towing capacity for various engine axle, drive combinations but information is only given for vehicles with towing package. Or whatever info given is qualified with "A properly equipped Aspen". There has to be a legal towing capacity for my Aspen
