Default 2009 Aspen battery draining

Today the battery went dead in the Aspen. The battery is about 10 months old. Took it to the shop and they said something was draining it but the could not get to it today. Said it could be one of the modules. So I got it home, put it in the garage and turned it off and just sat there and listened for anything running. Well from the radio I can hear what sounds like a little motor running and the display screen on the radio is warm. Note, I did not turn the radio on when I left the shop. I ejected the cd and it was hot. I disconnected the negative battery cable and the sound stops. I left the cable off for 5 minutes thinking it would reset or something but that did not work.
So here's my question, how do I cut power to the radio until the shop can get in back in on Wed. I pulled the radio and amp fuse but I still here the noise.

The fan noise from the radio is normal, but should shut off when you open the door with the key out of the ignition. If it doesn't stop when you open the door, something is wrong.

The fan will typically run for around 10-15 minutes after shutting down the vehicle if a door hasn't been opened. At least this is how it works on my 08 Aspen.

If all else fails, you could always disconnect power from the back of the unit. Google "mygig lockpick" to see a video on how to get to it -- it's a 5 minute job.

The feed fuse for the radio is a 30amp fuse, look on the Fuse Cover for location.
